Gamdom sports betting built around the NHL calendar
Pucklines, totals and period markets carry the winter here. The rest of the board runs deep too, from NBA and NFL through Premier League soccer and a full esports section.

How the board is organised
The left rail holds Picked For You, Top Sports and the full alphabetical list, with a separate Esports tab beside the main lobby. The row of sport icons along the top carries a badge showing how many events are live in each.
Featured cards show the headline three-way or two-way market. Opening a fixture expands it into the full market list: handicaps, totals, both teams to score, period and quarter markets, and player props where the league supports them.
- Betslip persists as you move between pages
- Quick Bet places single wagers without opening the slip
- My Bets tracks open and settled positions
What you can actually bet on
Hockey examples, because that is what most of this board is built around, but the same structures repeat across every sport.
| Market | What it means | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Moneyline | Straight winner including overtime and shootout | Oilers to win |
| Puckline | Hockey handicap, almost always set at 1.5 goals | Leafs -1.5 |
| Total (over/under) | Combined goals above or below a set line | Over 6.5 goals |
| Period betting | The same markets applied to one period only | 1st period draw |
| Player props | Individual performance markets | Anytime goalscorer |
| Parlay | Several selections combined, all must land | Three-leg NHL parlay |
Decimal odds in one paragraph
A decimal price is your total return per unit staked, stake included. At 1.86 a CA$50 bet returns CA$93 in total, so the profit is CA$43. Divide 1 by the price for the implied probability: 1 / 1.86 is roughly 53.8%.
Add the implied probabilities of every outcome in a market and you will get a number above 100%. That excess is the sportsbook's margin. On a tight NHL moneyline it might be 3 or 4%. On an obscure prop it can be much wider, which is the real reason niche markets are worse value than headline ones.
The numbers above are arithmetic examples using an example price. They are not a quote of any live Gamdom market.
Pre-match vs live
- Pre-match opens days ahead. Prices drift as money arrives and as team news lands, so an early line and a late line can be meaningfully different.
- Live reprices continuously. Markets suspend around goals, penalties and reviews, then reopen at a new price.
- Cash-out is offered on eligible bets at a price that already includes the book's margin on the exit.

Sports betting questions
Which sports does Gamdom cover?
The board runs across hockey, basketball, American football, baseball, soccer, tennis, MMA, boxing, cricket, rugby, snooker, darts and table tennis, alongside a large esports section covering CS2, Dota 2, League of Legends and Valorant.
Can I bet on the NHL from Canada?
Hockey is one of the deepest sections on the board, with moneyline, puckline, totals, period markets and player props on most games. Availability depends on the rules that apply where you are, and Ontario in particular runs its own regulated market.
Is live betting available?
Yes. In-play markets reprice as the game develops. Hockey moves fastest because a single power play changes both the total and the moneyline within a minute.
Are the odds shown on this page real?
No. Every odds figure on this page is a layout example so you can see how a market is structured. Real prices only exist inside Gamdom and change constantly.
Can I use one balance for casino and sportsbook?
Yes. Gamdom runs a single balance across both, so you can move between a hockey bet and an Originals round without transferring funds.
Which odds format does Gamdom use?
Decimal by default, which is standard across Canada and Europe. Most sportsbooks let you switch to American or fractional in settings if you prefer.
Betting hockey without kidding yourself
Hockey is the hardest of the major North American sports to model, and that cuts both ways. Goal totals are low, single events swing games, and goaltending variance is enormous. A team can out-chance an opponent two to one and lose because a backup stood on his head.
Practically, that means two things. Short parlays are more attractive than they look in hockey because favourites lose outright more often than in basketball, but that same volatility is exactly why stringing four of them together is a fast way to lose a bankroll. And team news matters enormously: a confirmed starting goaltender changes a moneyline more than almost any other single piece of information in sport. Wait for the confirmation before you bet.
