Gamdom affiliate program: how referral tracking actually works
Every casino bonus code you have ever used is one half of an affiliate arrangement. This page explains the mechanism from both sides, without inventing commission figures nobody published.
How an affiliate programme works
Referral attribution
A code or link records which partner a new account came from.
Performance reporting
Clicks, registrations, activity and earnings broken out in a dashboard.
Promotional tools
Banners, landing pages, codes and creatives supplied by the operator.
Compliance obligations
Advertising rules differ by province and are the affiliate's responsibility.
What actually happens when someone uses a code
An affiliate is issued a unique identifier. It appears in two forms: a tracking link such as gamdom.com/r/15boost, and a code such as 15BOOST that can be typed into the referral field manually.
When a new player arrives through either route, the operator records the referral against the account at creation. From that point the two are linked. The affiliate sees aggregate activity in a dashboard, never personal details, and the player sees whatever benefit the code carries, in this case the 15% rakeback for seven days.
The link between account and affiliate is set once. An account already attributed to one partner cannot be reassigned to another, which is why the code has to go in before or shortly after registration rather than months later.
Partner applies and is approved
The operator reviews the traffic source before issuing credentials.
Code and tracking link issued
One identifier, two ways of using it.
Player arrives and registers
Through the link, or by typing the code into the referral field.
Attribution recorded
The account is permanently associated with that partner.
Activity reported
Aggregate figures appear in the partner dashboard. No personal player data is shared.
Rewards settle on schedule
Both sides receive what their respective terms specify.
The three structures the industry uses
Gamdom sets its own rates and they vary between partners, so no percentages are quoted here. What is worth understanding is how the models differ, because the structure matters more than the headline number.
Revenue share
A percentage of the net revenue generated by referred players, paid over the lifetime of the account. Slow to start, compounds if the players stay.
CPA
A fixed amount per qualifying player, usually triggered by a first deposit above a threshold. Predictable, front-loaded, capped.
Hybrid
A smaller fixed payment plus a reduced revenue share. Splits the difference between immediate cash flow and long-term upside.
Whichever structure applies, the actual terms live in the agreement the operator issues. Negative carryover, qualifying criteria and payment thresholds vary between programmes and change the real value far more than the headline rate does.
What a programme normally supplies
- Tracking links with sub-ID parameters so you can tell which page or campaign produced which sign-up.
- Codes for placements where a link is impractical, such as a stream overlay or a spoken mention.
- Creative assets including banners, logos and landing artwork in standard sizes.
- Reporting segmented by date, geography and campaign, so poor traffic sources are visible early.
- An account manager on larger programmes, which is usually where custom terms get negotiated.
Advertising rules are not optional
01 Provincial variation
Gambling is regulated provincially. What is permitted in one province may not be in another, and affiliate content reaching Canadians has to account for that.
02 Ontario's regime
Ontario runs a regulated iGaming market through iGaming Ontario and the AGCO, with specific standards covering inducements, bonuses and who may appear in advertising.
03 Disclosure
Affiliate relationships should be disclosed. Readers are entitled to know that a link is commercial, and Canadian advertising standards expect it.
04 Age and targeting
Content must not be directed at anyone under the legal minimum age, which is 19 in most provinces and 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec.
Affiliate program questions
What is the Gamdom affiliate program?
It is Gamdom's partner programme. Approved affiliates get a unique code and tracking link, and players who join through them are attributed to that affiliate. The affiliate earns a share tied to those players' activity, and the players get the referral benefits attached to the code.
How does a tracking link work?
A link like gamdom.com/r/yourcode carries an identifier. When someone follows it, the referral is recorded against the account they create. The affiliate code field on the registration panel does the same job manually for people who arrive without the link.
What commission does Gamdom pay affiliates?
Gamdom sets its own rates and terms, and they can differ between partners and change over time. This page deliberately does not quote a percentage, because any figure published on a third-party site is a guess unless it comes from your own agreement.
Is 15BOOST an affiliate code?
Yes. It is the referral code used across this site. Entering it attributes a new account to this referral, which is what releases the 15% rakeback for the first seven days.
Do I need a website to be an affiliate?
Not necessarily. Affiliates operate through content sites, streams, communities and social channels. What matters to the operator is that traffic is real, disclosed and compliant with advertising rules in the markets it reaches.
What are the rules on advertising gambling in Canada?
They are strict and they vary. Ontario applies specific restrictions through iGaming Ontario and the AGCO, including rules on inducements and on who may appear in advertising. Any affiliate promoting to Canadian audiences should read the current rules for each province they reach.
Where this site stands
Gamdomcanada.casino is an affiliate site. The links on it carry the 15BOOST referral, and if you register through one, this site is recorded as the referring partner. That is the arrangement, stated plainly, because you should know it before you click anything.
What it does not change: the code gives you the 15% rakeback either way, the terms you get are Gamdom's rather than ours, and nothing on this site is a guarantee about outcomes. An affiliate page that promises you will win is not being careful with either the rules or with you.
Use the referral from the player side
You do not need to be a partner to benefit. Entering 15BOOST during registration gives you 15% rakeback for seven days.
