What the controls actually do
The bar beneath the felt holds everything: your main bet with 1/2, x2 and Max shortcuts, a seat selector for one to three hands, and a side bets toggle. The note beside it spells out that a zero bet starts a demo round and that side bets require a real stake.
Everything printed on the felt is a rule, not decoration. BLACKJACK PAYS 3 TO 2 tells you a natural returns 1.5x. INSURANCE PAYS 2 TO 1 tells you what the insurance side bet returns, which is a fact about the payout and not a recommendation to take it.
The handful of rules that do most of the work
Full basic strategy is a chart. These are the lines that cost players the most when they get them wrong.

Does Gamdom blackjack pay 3 to 2?
The Originals table displays BLACKJACK PAYS 3 TO 2 and INSURANCE PAYS 2 TO 1 printed on the felt. Always confirm the payout on whichever table you sit at, because 6 to 5 tables exist elsewhere in the industry and cost far more than they look.
What is the single most expensive blackjack mistake?
Playing a 6 to 5 table. It adds roughly 1.4% to the house edge on its own, which is more than every decision error a typical player makes in a session combined.
Should I take insurance?
Almost never. Insurance is a side bet on the dealer holding a ten-value card under an ace, and it pays 2 to 1 against odds that are worse than that. Card counters deviate in specific counts. Everyone else should decline it.
Are blackjack side bets worth taking?
They carry a much higher house edge than the main game, often several times higher. They are entertainment, not value, and should be sized accordingly.
Can I count cards on an online blackjack table?
Not usefully. Software tables reshuffle every hand. Live dealer shoes are shuffled well before penetration gets deep enough for counting to mean anything.
